Wang Zhiguo’s Violin workshop has a 25 year history under Master Wang, a true artisan Luthier trained in Italy, and every instrument he finishes represents the highest level of modern Lutherie. This violin was carefully handmade by Master Wang and is a reproduction of the Andrea Amati 1566 Violin. Only the best tonewoods were used with Bosnian Maple wood, beautiful flame for the back, ribs and scroll and combined with a 200-year-old Spruce Top. This violin not only looks beautiful, but also projects a quality sound at a great value. Recommended for the serious student. The top plate of this violin has had the top layer of the varnish refinished, and this has been reflected in the price.
